BenchPair is a free tool supported by advertising. This page explains in plain language what happens to data when you use it.
What we collect directly
Almost nothing. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The hardware you select, the resolution, the game and the results are computed on your device and are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
We do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other identifying information to use the tool.
What is collected automatically
- Standard server and CDN logs, including IP address, browser type, referring page and time of request. These are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained for a limited period.
- Aggregate analytics about which pages are visited and which tools are used, so we know what to build next.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies via aboutads.info.
Where required by law, we present a consent notice before non-essential cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
Affiliate links
Some pages may contain affiliate links to retailers. If you buy something after following one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never influence our recommendations; the tool will tell you when an upgrade would not help, even though recommending one would pay better.
Your data, your call
Depending on where you live you may have the right to see what data relates to you, correct it, or have it deleted. If you are in the EU, the UK or California you definitely do.
To exercise any of these, email hello@benchpair.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
This page will change as the site does. The date at the bottom tells you when it was last updated.
